Sartaj Pannu is a Alberta Transportation Certified Air Brake Instructor and has been successfully conducting Air Brake Classes for the last 10 years. Every Saturday Full day classes are held at our Westwinds Office, Calgary and Air Brake is explained in a very professional and friendly environment.
Air Brake endorsement is necessary to operate any vehicle equipped with Air Brakes. Its mandatory to get class 1 and Class 3 license.
Q-Endorsement Air brake practical session is conducted in our yard, near the intersection of 64 Ave and Metis trail NE Calgary. It is apprx. 2 hrs of class conducted by our senior Air Brake Instructor.
Written Knowledge test needs to be passed by the candidate after Air brake classroom and yard classes at a nearby registry in order to have Q-Endorsement on his Driving License.

For the last 10 years, as a Driving Instructor Calgary,I have trained over 2000 class 1 students, 300 class 2 students, and 500 class 5 students. Prior to that I worked as a truck driver and drove truck in North America for more than 5 years with no traffic violations

I have done B.E(Mechanical) from India and worked in Industry as an Engineer before immigrating to Canada in 2003
What different courses are provided and whats the fees

I wanted to do class 1 truck training,But your fees is very high
New MELT program has been introduced by Alberta Transportation from March 1, 2019, and anybody willing to get class 1 license has to complete 121.5 hrs of Mandatory Training. That includes 40.5 hrs of classroom instruction, 15.5 hrs of in yards instruction and 57 hrs of in-cab training. Our fees is $8,500+GST and that is comparable to our competitors in the market
